GenInfo - IT Open Office Hours Registration Tool Overview on 2/20/24
On Tuesday, 2/20/24 during the IT Open Office Hours, the IT Team gave a presentation on the different registration tools we currently have access to. This was done to inform all staff of the options that exist for collecting event registrations and to help spread awareness on the cost of different tools. The overall theme of the presentation is that the simpler your data capture is for the event, the less likely you need an advanced tool like EventSquid. If you only need basic information like name, email address, university they're apart of, etc., use SurveyMonkey, Jotform, or Zoom Registrations. If you need a landing page, booking hotels, and more advanced features or information, EventSquid is the tool to use.
